Here’s what's new in Landchecker early July 2024
Order Manager quick preview and download documents
Customers ordering documents can now preview and download documents with one click. Simply head over to the Order Manager and click icon buttons on the right side of the table to see how.
Order Manager bulk download documents
As part of ongoing improvements to the Order Manager we have released the ability to bulk download documents. Head over to the Order Manager and filter by date ordered and choose the month you would like to download documents from. From here click the select all checkbox, you will see the BULK DOWNLOAD button enabled with a badge showing how many documents are selected, click BULK DOWNLOAD and you will see a confirmation alert and a notification with a link to the zip file download.
Select preferred map area on sign up
New customers can now select the city they would like to map to open in. This can then be updated by right clicking on the map and selecting where you want to centre the map.
Bug fixes and improvements
- Project dots now working when high resolution imagery is on
- High resolution filters now working on small screens

Here’s what's new in Landchecker late June 2024
More powerful Order Manager Filter
Customers can now access more powerful filtering in the Order Manger with the ability to not only sort each column but also filter by each column. For example customers can now filter by the following criteria:
- PRODUCT - Contains, equals or is empty
- ORDERED BY - Contains, equals or is empty
- REFERENCE - Contains, equals or is empty
- DESCRIPTION - Contains, equals or is empty
- INVOICE - Contains, equals or is empty
- DATE ORDERED - From - to
- EST. DELIVERY DATE - From - to
- STATUS - Completed, Error or With Authority
Email Verification
As part of our ongoing security enhancements, new customers will now have to confirm their email on sign up and existing customers when they change their email.
Device Limitation
Again as part of our ongoing security enhancements, sessions are now limited to 2 devices per login. The oldest device login will be automatically logged out when sessions reach 3. Please read more about this in our FAQs here.
Bug fixes and improvements
- Pasting the address into the search bar now shows the related properties in the dropdown search suggestions
- Leaving the map and returning back brings you to you selected property.

Release Notes - search by owners name now available for Victorian properties
Here’s what's new in Landchecker early June 2024
Search by owners name
Customers can now access the ability to search by owner's name to find the properties owned by said owner. Simply request access and sign a Landata deed poll and our support team will grant access once the deed is signed. From here you can search an individual or organisation via the DOCUMENT SEARCHES page > TITLE SEARCH tab > SEARCG BY drop down menu.
Improvements to planning permit hovers
Hovering on then moving the cursor away from the planning permit hover now closes the hovered permit information.
Zone colours now show in Site Finder Zone search chips
Visual improvements to the site finder search as outlined in the image below.

Release notes - High resolution aerial imagery filters and more
Here’s what's new in Landchecker late May 2024
High resolution Aerial Imagery Filters
Advanced customers can now access the ability to filter the high resolution aerial imagery by brightness and contrast. These edits can also be saved as a preference. Access these filters in the tools area next to the high resolution export.
Due Diligence is now Planning Layers
As part of an ongoing project to improve and customise your experience we have made the first of many updates to the left hand side panel. You can now see that the Due Diligence menu is now called Planning Layers and toggling open and turning on the data is now decoupled. Look out for future functionality releases where you can customise and save your settings in this area.
Statistical Areas (SA)
Customers on paid plans can now access Statistical Areas Levels 1-4 in the new above mentioned Planning Layers. Statistical Areas are geographical areas representing population density SA 1 for example, have a population of between 200 and 800 people with an average population size of approximately 400 people.

Reverse Geocode API
Customers on an Enterprise plan can now reach out to access the Landchecker API’s including the Reverse Geocode API which lets you select a point on the map to bring back the address. Other API’s recently released include the Property Details (zone, land size and property boundaries) and the Planning Permit/DA API’s.

Lidar imagery can now be toggled on/off
Customers using high resolution aerial imagery can now switch between lidar (red) and high resolution images.
Order manager update
As part of an ongoing project to improve the Landchecker order manager, customers can now sort the order manager columns in ascending and descending order. Watch this space for future improvements to the order manager filter.

Property Details API
Customers can now access property details data including zones, land size, site dimensions orientation and frontage on a property searched for via the Landchecker API. Planning permit/DAs API
Customers can now also access planning permit/DA data by searching a property along with the above mentioned property details via the Landchecker API. Find out more about the data products we offer and formats via our data on demand page or reach out to our sales team to discuss your data needs today via our data enquiry page.
EMR searches now available in Landchecker
QLD Environmental Management and Contaminated Land Registers reports are now available in Landchecker’s Queensland offering. Reports are available on all Queensland properties and can be found in the documents tab in the right hand side panel and via standard searches on the document searches page.
Corelogic data update
Corelogic sales history data added to premium property reports in Victoria.

Here’s what’s new in late March 2024
Custom Branded Premium Property Report Covers
Customers on Advanced plans now have the ability to create their own branded premium report covers. Simply search a property via the homeowners page or address search and click the view report button to access the premium report for your subject property.
Choose from 3 cover designs - two for residential properties and one for industrial properties - and edit the following fields:
- Brand colour and text colour
- Company name and logo
- Prepared by name, email, phone number and profile picture
- Report title and subtitle
- Prepared for field.

Sales data now available in ACT
With our recent rollout of ACT we are pleased to announce that we now have the following sales data:
- Last sold price and date
- Property type (residential, commercial etc)
- Property attribute (bedrooms, bathrooms and car space)

New zones added to Queensland
The following zones and scheme links have been added to our Queensland offering:
- Cassowary Coast Regional zones and scheme links

Release notes - koala biodiversity data now available in Queensland
Here’s what’s new in Landchecker mid March 2024
QLD Koala data
Koala biodiversity data has been added to our Qld offering. This includes 5 different datasets covering the south east corner of Qld including the following:
- Koala Core Habitat
- Koala Habitat Restoration Area
- Koala Habitat Restoration Area - Koala Priority Area
- Koala Priority Area
- Locally Refined Koala Habitat Area
Replace standard aerial imagery with satellite in WA
Our Western Australian offering now looks similar to our South Australian offering. This is the first iteration of an ongoing project to improve the standard imagery nationally.
API access to generate you own key
We have created a page in the business account settings where customers can request access to our API’s. Once activated customers can generate their own API keys and choose a testing or live environment. API's are currently available for property reports with the Permits/DA API soon to be released.
More Zones in Queensland
The following zone data has been release in the Landchecker platform:
- Lockyer Valley zones and scheme links
- Whitsunday Regional zones and scheme links
Other improvements and bug fixes:
- Add phone number to sign up form
- Bug fix - High Resolution Imagery: roads and parks were showing when zones toggled on/off. This issue is now fixed.
